Gravity is a study in material contrast; a concrete lamp that pairs the raw, tactile feel of cast concrete with the warm glow of diffused light. The base is cast in a 3D-printed mold, and each piece carries the subtle imperfections inherent to the cement-casting process.
The result is an object that is honest to its materials, with small variations in surface feel that give every lamp its unique character.

Complete product development
We used the Bambu Lab LED Lamp Kit 001 as a light source. For the making of the concrete base, we designed and 3D printed components that formed our mould, which later was sealed with silicone. The top part of the lamp was 3D printed in translucent PLA using vase mode.
