Project "Railbike" reimagines the historic draisine as a contemporary vehicle for heritage rail tourism; a means of bringing visitors into direct contact with the rail network itself, and the local communities along its route. Developed as a hybrid typology, the railbike merges the mechanical legacy of the draisine with the ergonomics and refinement of modern bicycles.
